SAFETY
Warnings
Allergy
Alert:
Naproxen sodium may cause a severe allergic reaction
which may include:
· hives
· facial swelling
· asthma (wheezing)
· shock
Alcohol
Warning:
If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day,
ask your doctor whether you should take naproxen sodium
or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Naproxen sodium
may cause stomach bleeding.
Do
not use:
· with any other pain reliever
· for more than 10 days for pain
· for more than 3 days for fever
· if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any
other pain reliever
Ask
a doctor before use if you have ever had serious side
effects from any pain reliever.
Ask
a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are:
· taking other drugs on a regular basis
· under a doctor's care for any continuing condition
Stop
use and ask a doctor if:
· an allergic reaction occurs. Seek medical help right
away.
· the painful area is red and swollen
· any new or unexpected symptoms occur
· symptoms continue or worsen
· you have difficulty swallowing
· it feels like the pill is stuck in your throat
· you develop heartburn
· stomach pain occurs with use of this product or
if even mild symptoms persist
If
pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health
professional before use. It is especially important
not to use naproxen sodium during the last three months
of pregnancy unless specifically directed to do so
by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn
child or complications during delivery.
Keep
out of reach of children. In case of accidental
overdose, seek professional assistance or contact
a Poison Control Center immediately.

SAFETY
Important
Product Information:
Since the product was first introduced, the following
have been reported in patients using ENBREL:
Serious infections
Many occurred in people prone to infection, such as
those with advanced or poorly controlled diabetes
Some serious infections were fatal
Rare cases of tuberculosis
What To Do/Not Do
Do not start ENBREL if you have an infection or are
allergic to ENBREL or its components
Tell your doctor if you are prone to infection
Stop ENBREL if a serious infection occurs
Contact your doctor if you have questions about ENBREL
or develop an infection
Serious nervous system disorders such as multiple
sclerosis, seizures, or inflammation of the nerves
of the eyes.
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any of these
disorders or if you develop them after starting ENBREL.
Rare reports of serious blood disorders (some fatal)
Contact your doctor immediately if you develop symptoms
such as persistent fever, bruising, bleeding, or paleness
The incidence of cancer has not increased with extended
exposure to ENBREL and is similar to the expected
rate.
ENBREL can also cause injection site reactions.
In a medical study of patients with JRA, infections,
headaches, abdominal pain, vomiting, and nausea occurred
more frequently than in adults.
The kinds of infections reported were generally mild
and similar to those usually seen in children
Other serious adverse reactions were reported rarely,
including serious infections (2%) and depression/personality
disorder (1%)

SAFETY
Important
safety information:
CELEBREX
is not for everyone. CELEBREX should
not be taken in late pregnancy or if you've had aspirin-sensitive
asthma or allergic reactions to aspirin or other arthritis
medicines or certain drugs called sulfonamides. In
rare cases, serious stomach problems, such as bleeding,
can occur without warning. The most common side effects
in clinical trials were indigestion, diarrhea, and
abdominal pain. Tell your doctor if you have kidney
or liver problems. If you think you are having an
allergic reaction or if you have other severe or unusual
symptoms while taking CELEBREX, call
your doctor or other healthcare professional immediately.

SAFETY
IMPORTANT
INFORMATION ABOUT BEXTRA:
BEXTRA
should not be given to patients who have demonstrated
allergic-type reactions to sulfonamides. BEXTRA
Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known
hypersensitivity to valdecoxib. BEXTRA should not
be given to patients who have experienced asthma,
urticaria, or allergic-type reactions after taking
aspirin or NSAIDs. Severe, rarely fatal, anaphylactic-like
reactions to NSAIDs are possible in such patients.

HUMIRA®
SAFETY
Important
Product Information:
Do
not start HUMIRA if you are allergic to the drug
or any of its ingredients. You should not start
HUMIRA if you have an infection, including an
infection that is only in one place (such as an
open cut or sore) or an infection that is in your
whole body (such as the flu). Tell your doctor
now if you have a history of recurrent infections
or other conditions that increase the risk of
infections.
Before
starting HUMIRA, your doctor should check you
for signs and symptoms of tuberculosis (TB). Tell
your doctor if you have ever had TB, or if you
have been in close contact with someone who has
had TB. Tell your doctor about other medicines
that you may be taking. If symptoms of TB (a dry
cough that doesn't go away, weight loss, fever,
night sweats) or any other infection appear during
therapy, tell your doctor immediately.
Tell
your doctor if you experience any numbness or
tingling or have ever had a disease that affects
your nervous system like multiple sclerosis, or
if you experience allergic reactions such as a
severe rash, swollen face or difficulty breathing.
Check
with your doctor before you receive any vaccines.
You
should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, become
pregnant or are thinking about becoming pregnant.
The
most common side effects of HUMIRA are upper respiratory
and sinus infections, headache, rash and injection
site pain.
